Dentists Who Invest

A Humorous Meme With A Powerful Message...

A humorous meme with a powerful message…⁣

Once upon a time a younger version of myself worked 6 days a week in dentistry. I used to spend the 7th day of the week preparing for the next week and also reading and learning more about dentistry. Its fair to say I suffered from the total misconception that the input of time for the output of money was directly proportional. This is a narrative that we have come to accept but in reality if you scratch the surface is totally untrue.⁣

The more I learned about money/investing the more I realized that there are a million ways it can work for us short term or long term to buy back our freedom. One just needs to get a great timeframe on when they wish to extract profits and also understand some basic principles. After that its just applying them consistently and with good risk management.⁣

We as dentists are SO unbelievably fortunate because we often have spare cash that when used wisely can work for us. I would never ever go back to working 6 days a week it was true insanity and stifled my growth in so many other aspects of my life.⁣

I chased the satisfaction of FEELING like I was working hard rather than my own personal wellbeing. I also chased money and thought this was the only means to become wealthy.⁣

PLEASE dont be like me. The information is out there. Theres a status quo in society that says that we must be grafting 24/7. Whilst I am a firm believer in hard work past a certain point it just becomes unhealthy and unwise – best epiphany I ever had was to realise it doesnt have to be that way.⁣

The world is abundant, we’re all a team and the more information we can share with each other the more we can all benefit.⁣
